William Crapo Durant was a dreamer who put several automobile companies together into what became the world’s largest corporation. Learn how this high school dropout became worth millions and yet died penniless. The strengths and weaknesses of his personality, his family life and his contributions to industry are all discussed.
About the Presenter: Russell Doré is an author and speaker who presents on leaders in the transportation industry and famous individuals in other fields. He is on the board of directors of the Motor Cities National Heritage Area and holds bachelors, masters and doctoral degrees in the social sciences.
